Robin M. McNabb, Esq.
Robin McNabb is skilled in both transactional practice and litigation. Her goal is to represent her clients in a fair and honest manner, helping them achieve their goals while minimizing their stress and expenses as much as possible. As a transactional attorney, Robin focuses on business organization and reorganization, construction, real estate law, subdivision development, and estate planning. She also handles a wide variety of civil litigation cases, particularly in the areas of corporate law, contract disputes, real estate law, collections, detainer/eviction matters, bankruptcy (creditors’ rights only), probate, conservatorships, and personal injury.
Ms. McNabb was licensed to practice law in 2006. Before embarking on a legal career, Robin earned her bachelor’s degree from East Tennessee University, then worked as a newspaper reporter in upper East Tennessee for approximately four years. As a journalist, Robin kept the local residents informed about the local court system, including criminal and civil dockets, as well as local government. It was her experiences attending court hearings and interacting with the local district attorney and judges that prompted Robin to attend law school and pursue a career as an attorney. In 2003, Ms. McNabb moved to Knoxville to attend law school at the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she participated in a wide variety of activities and graduated with honors in 2006.
After becoming licensed to practice law, Robin served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Sharon Lee of the Tennessee Court of Appeals (who now serves as Chief Justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court) and Judge Michael Swiney of the Tennessee Court of Appeals. Curing this time, she gained valuable insight into the decision-making process of judges. She uses that experience and knowledge base for the benefit of her clients in the courtroom on a regular basis. Robin joined the firm of Wise & Reeves, P.C. in 2008. Robin is licensed to practice in all Tennessee Courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for Eastern and Middle Districts of Tennessee. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Knoxville Bar Association and East Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women.
